Description

Join the southwestern Indiana's leading Soil & Water Conservation District's as we host a Southern Indiana Pond Workshop. This workshop will showcase topics geared to getting your pond back in shape for the summer while creating a healthy environment for aquatic life below the surface. Experts from Auquatic Control & The Cisco Company will be on hand to ask direct questions. Category 5 CCH credits have also been applied for.

10:30 Selecting Fish Species & Stocking Rates - Mike Wathen, Consultant for Vanderburgh County

12:15 Pond Maintance & Invasive Identification - Patrick Whitson, Aquatic Control

1:30 Demonstration of the “Pond Daddy” App - Dan Stevens, The Cisco Company

2:00pm Dismiss

Admission is $10.00 per person and includes lunch and handouts. Registration can be done online through eventbrite or pay at the door with cash or check only. For questions, special dietary requests or other considerations, please contact the Vanderburgh County SWCD at 812.423.4426 ex. 3. Wirth Park Community Center is located within Wirth Park which is located on Hwy. 64 on the west side of Oakland City.
